The MASTERPIECES by Daterra of 2025 celebrate the folk culture of Brazil. Our coffees this year are named after Brazilian colloquial expressions that don’t have direct translations but evoke universal feelings and sensations. We want to share with the world a glimpse of our Brazilian experience.
We invite you to travel back in time and step into a scene from our childhoods—spending time with our grandmothers, pets, and homes. Your journey will be guided by our mascot, Latte (a playful nod to the word late, which means “bark” in Portuguese—though explaining the pun spoils some of the fun).
Latte is a true vira-lata—a mutt, a stray, a street dog that Brazil has embraced as its national pet. And he’s as vira-lata as they come: eager to be by your side throughout the entire experience.
As we say here in Brazil: Come in, make yourself at home—just don’t mind the mess. We just baked a cake and made some coffee.
